I would be gratefull if any onecould locate a Jessie Stuart Morrison
Details from the 1911 census Scotland census.
Jessie S Morrison granddaughter, dob 1903 New York, British subject by parentage.
Jessie is living with her grandparents in 1911
Alexander Morrison dob 1839 Aberdeenshire Jessie S Morrison ( nee Stuart) dob 1839 Aberdeenshire Jeannie Morrison daughter dob 1867 Aberdeenshire. From earlier censuses these are the children of Alexander and Jesse Morrison
Isabella S Morrison dob 1866 Aberdeen Jeannie Morrison dob 1867 Alexander Morrison dob 1876 Aberdeen
Alexander oes not appear with the family in 1911.
Isabella S Morrison 1866 from her death certificate died in 1952 at 410 Great Western street Aberdeen The informant was Jesie S Fenton neice.
The 1937 passenger list shows Jessie S Fenton going to stay at 410 Great Western Road Aberdeen where her aunt Isabella died. Travelling with her is Jack Fenton dob 1901 an Engineer, presumably Jessies husband.
I have no other details for this couple other than they frequently appear on the ships lists travelling to or back from various places ie Aden Trinidad Yemen etc.
Rather long winded i know but i am hoping to establish who the parents are of Jessie S Morrison 1903 New York.
Thank you for any replies
Maurice.

Scotland's People website is a pay to view site £7 for 30 credits http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/
Without using credit I have found that a Jessie Stuart Morrison died in 1994 whose birth year is shown as 1902 If the 1911 census showed she was 8 then whereas they take 1911 - 8 == 1903, the birth is more likely to actually be 1902.
I have no idea if it is your girl.
Buy credits, (you may already have them if you can reproduce the 1911 census) it will cost you 0 to get the information I have, just by manipulating the site. Further manipulation without cost would tell you which county, district etc.
For 1 credit you could get the GROS reference to enable you to purchase the certificate of death - as the death is less than 50 years ago you won't be able to view online
Death certificate will give you, subject to the informant knowing, the name, surname and occupation of her Father and the name, maiden surname of the mother amongst other details.

Thank you for your replys Yvonne and Greyghost, my cousin who i share my research with said he had checked Scotlands People but did not mention that death. I wiil ask him about it.
If it is her, there still remains the question of her whereabouts 1903_-1911 And of course another mystery who is Jessie S Fenton.
Best wishes Maurice.

Marriage, with place:

Looks like Maggie's birth:

Margaret A G Diack
in the 1881 Scotland Census Name: Margaret A G Diack Age: 2 Estimated birth year: abt 1879 Relationship: Daughter (Child) Father's name: Alexander Diack Mother's name: Margaret Ann Diack Gender: Female Where born: Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire Registration Number: 168/1 Registration district: St Nicholas Civil Parish: Aberdeen St Nicholas County: Aberdeenshire Address: 5 Windy Wynd Occupation: Scholar ED: 59 Household schedule number: 23 LINE: 11 Roll: cssct1881_51 Household Members: Name Age Alexander Diack 25 Margaret Ann Diack 22 John Grant Diack 4 Margaret A G Diack 2 Mary H W Diack 5 Mo

But if that's her, she's still listed at home with parents, as Diack, in 1901:
Margaret Ann Diack
in the 1901 Scotland Census Name: Margaret Ann Diack Age: 24 Estimated birth year: abt 1877 Relationship: Daur (Child) Father's name: Alexr Diack Mother's name: Margaret Ann Diack Gender: Female Where born: Aberdeen Registration Number: 168/1 Registration district: St Nicholas Civil Parish: Aberdeen St Georges in the West County: Aberdeenshire Address: 98 Gerrard St Occupation: N?? Details from marriage cert ( not a church wedding):
27 Sept 1897, in Peterhead, by declaration in presence of John Diack, plumber, and Mary Helen Diack, fancy box maker. A Morrison, clothier, bachelor, age 21, usual residence 596 George Street, Aberdeen. Parents: Alexander Morrison, clothier, and Jane Morrison, ms Stewart.
Margaret A G Diack, machinist, spinster, age 19, usual residence 98 Gerrard Street, Peterhead. Parents: Alexander Diack, comb maker, and Margaret Ann Diack, ms Grant.
There's something written in the margin of the cert, which I can't decipher. Looks like "Erasure [?? something] 5", and something which might be initials
