Hello Dea. An old schoolfriend of mine could be the sister in law to Joyce Catherine Smith nee Jeffs. The Janet I spoke to had a father born in a different year. |

Hello Dea, I spoke to the daughter of Joyce Jeffs and she confirmed that I have the wrong Smith family. There must have been another George T E Smith born 1929 and living in Hampstead. Maybe he moved to another area - like Hendon or somewhere like that where new post war housing was developing - and married in the area of his bride. I thought the three initials may narrow it down - but not so it seems. |
