As someone has said previously, your best bet is to look in the parish registers for Buckland and / or Aston Clinton. Printed transcripts are available to purchase from the Bucks family history society. They may also have CD ROMs, they do for some of them. |

Not unless his marriage record is wrong, or Stephen was also known as William. |

The following Dwight families are in Buckland in 1841. |

Just been having a look through the 1841 census for Buckland and it appears that the enumerator has helpfully put the head of the household down as surname then first name, e.g. Dwight George. With the rest of the family underneath e.g. Ann do. This means that George Dwight's wife Ann is transcribed as Ann George. |

No, sorry, Eddie, there seems to be no online birth record for him, and we can't find him in 1841,(though of course he might not have been living with his parents at the time, in any case) so there's no way of knowing who his parents were - apart from the fact that his father seems to have been William, from his marriage cert. |

Looks like a misprint to me as he was down as Charles Dwight on 1881 census in Derbyshire. |

This is the only one showing on Ancestry who would have been of a suitable age, and in the right area - BUT there is no way of knowing if he's your William's father or not. |
