Find Ancestors

Pamela Everson had a son - Henry Everson b 1855, father unknown. She married James Nichols in Ipswich, Suffolk, on 11/06/1867. They had one son - James Gladstone Nichols b Sept 1867. Husband James died in 1878. I cannot find any records relating to Pamela (Everson/Nichols) after the 1881 census (widowed, living with son James at 5 Upper Orwell Street, Ipswich).

If anyone has any information relating to Pamela I'd be very grateful!

I forgot to say that the 1881 census has a couple of anomalies. Firstly, she's down as being Pamala and secondly aged 36, when in reality she was 48!

The death of "Pem" Nicholls in 1890, posted earlier by Ann, is apparently that of a baby.

And anyway, on the image, the name looks like Alfred Ernest Nichols, and the age possibly 8:

I have found a Thomas Arthur and Julia Cook on the census in Mutford RD, married 5 years so
Pamela Nichols would have married Herbert George Manthorpe, but I've yet to find them in 1911

Thank you both for the information - I have all the info relating to 2xGG Henry, but am interested in the Emily Burrows 1891 census. Had a quick look but cannot find a Nichols/Burrows marriage although I have found a death entry for Emily Burrows in 1901 which would explain why I couldn't find her in the 1901 census. Will keep looking - thankfully she's the only "mystery" in our direct line!
