Just for information. My understanding of names.

Male: Fayburn - usually shortened to Fay - mainly in USA

Female: Faye

Unfortunately there are a number of possible deaths for Ivy. There is/was an unrelated branch which lived down that way.
Some migrated from Deal, others from the Isle of Sheppey. Not that I'm ruling it, out mind!

And maybe a possibility for Ivy's death ???:

Something to think about there. Thank you! At least you've found Frederick E C Allen's marriage which is one step forward!

I’d worked out they were in the same household (assuming the search engine is correct) by leaving the lead name & yob boxes blank, selecting Sittingbourne and Milton UD as the district. Then in the Other Household members boxes putting in Fay Allen.

Rambling Rose had also come to the assumption that sequential numbers seemed to be in the same household for one of her families.

There don’t appear to be any Allen/Sheaff births 1932-1939, so may be the redacted ones are other relatives? Or may be they were fostering? Who knows?

Oh well – its all grist to the mill :-D

Just looking through the people in that place the numbers seem to run consecutively, could those redacted be missing from the numbering sequence?

FMP Service Records confirm Leonard Cookson married Florence Elizabeth Pullyblank 21.12 1907 Woolwich, Raymond b 13.7.08 Woolwich and Fay Ena b 15.5.1910 Bloomfontein.

Leonards Father shown as William Cookson 19 St George's Place, Kidderminster, Worcs and Wife 2 Hampshire Terrace, Clayhall, Gosport, Hants.

Discharged to pension 1920 as a Sergeant Cook. Seems to have gone between Home Service and South Africa
