What was the name and occupation of Thomas McCarthy's father from the marriage certificate? |

Thanks all, waiting on marriage cert, just thought I would do some inquiries while waiting...Confused about the distance between where Johannah was living in 1911 and her marriage in Shoreditch. I know London well and Southwark and Shoreditch are by no means close to each other. Will be patient and wait for the cert. |

I asked if Thomas served in WW1 because that could explain the years between the birth of their child in 1914 and their marriage in 1918. |

Can I ask how you know that Albert Stanley B 1914 is the son of Thomas & Johannah? |

The reason why I ask is that I would have thought that if Albert was born prior to marriage his surname would be ' Hayes' and not ' McCarthy'. |

That looks like Margaret's burial, Chris. I see there is a Joseph too buried 30 April 1943 aged 61 years that looks right too. |
