Mary Grayling gave birth to Harriett Bennett in 1843 (I have a copy of birth certificate which spelt the name Hariet Bennett). The father's name was Henry Bennett. I cannot find any record of Mary Grayling anywhere and wonder if there is any way I can find her birth/parents or marriage? |

You may be right there Yvonne, will check on this. But on Hariet's birth certificate it does say her parents are Henry Bennett and Mary Bennett (formerly Grayling) :-0 |

I've had trouble finding the whole family in 1861. I found a couple of the older girls working as servants and was wondering if this is the two younger children:- |

Re the Ancestry tree and the Quilligan marriage, if Henry and Mary were both born in Sussex, and raised their family in Sussex, not really sure why they'd end up getting married in Portsmouth? |

Have sent you a pm with a snip from a Sussex paper about the horse and van incident. Apparently a baker named Blaber had left his horse and van unattended, whilst he delivered his goods. |
