Thank you Jude yes sorry do mean Electoral Roll I cannot find my Grandfather living with his first wife at all 1915-1932 very frustrating think I will just have to forget about that one :-( |

There wasn't a census in 1915! Assuming you mean the electoral roll, all persons eligible to vote would be on it. In 1915, voting rights were minimal. And for woman almost negligible. |

on Ancestry I have noticed that on 1915 census they only give one person per household is this the reason why I cannot find them living together ? |

Hi Chris yes I would say that could be a mistake re Hauxton so I will take that one to be her and 1911 census for her parents to be correct aswell thank you. If you have any other ideas as to where they could be living in 1915 to 1932 whilst married to Alfred I am now wondering if Alfred was in Army ? did they have army homes in WW1 ? |

Yes father Albert edward and she was born cambridgshire . Im wondering if alfred lock could have been in military there are some A lock's but cant be sure actually him but then why can I not find her on census/ electrol roll ? |

He was my grandfather but Ada May Symonds was his first wife they married 1915 in Willesden Kensal Rise Ada died in 1933 Hendon so I think they stayed in the area but I just cannot find them :-( |

As he was your grandfather have you got the birth certificate of any of their children which will give you the address at that time |
