Jason if you are going to family history then you are going to have to accept that you need to invest in some certificates. |

Try using this site, input you're grandad's name and year of birth and see what comes up |

My great grandmother was originally from Guernsey and she may have married whilst still in Guernsey. I believe her husband was called Charles Pithers. |

I think it could be because the DOB was given for Jason's father who is possibly still living born 1950s? |

Jason I am not certain if you put your father's full date of birth? If so that could be why it was reported, it's advised just to put the qtr and year rather than full date of someone who could be living, to protect privacy and protect against possible ID theft. |
