I am looking for information on Katherine (kitty) Mary Evans Born 24/05/1909 Poss in Islington /Marylebone District of london Daughter of David Evans born C 1888 and Helena Evans ( Ne Miebs) born C1889 She was the sister to my Grand mother Phylis Evans Born 1912 And registered at Marylebone district and John Evans Born C1913 As far as I know she had a rather large row with my Great grandfather aged about 17 and left the house never to be seen again
Any information as to her life /descendants etc. would be most welcomed I have always wondered what happened to her i am a novice so need help with this please

It may be worth taking a chance and sending for that death certificate. At the moment I am only seeing 1 possible marriage but it was in 1976. wait a bit and see if anyone else comes up with anything. I only posted that one as the date of birth matched when I searched using Kathleen Mary and the birthdate that you had given.

Thank you Lesley This my Great Grand Parents and Kitty i have just downloaded the record to my tree It would seem from this Kitty was born in 1910 not 1909 any more information will be great fully received

The dates on census are as at the last birthday . The 1911 census was taken in April 1911 so Katherine was still 1+ year old .she hadnt had her birthday for 1911 at the time the census was taken so she would be recorded as 1 and the dob then shows as 1910

This is normal for all census info depending on when a persons birthday month was , it may show a 1 year later birth year than the actual

It looks like that lady may have been married previously? It is definately there under Bevan too on the image.

Marriage cert should give you the couple's ages, addresses, whether single or widowed and occupations, father's names and occs.

You can order certificates online from the General R.O. (£9.25) quoting the Quarter and ref numbers found on freebmd.

Is there a way to find out without spending to much money ???I dont want to order Certificates if they are wrong as money is very tight here

there is no way to find the details Alan without buying the certificate. Perhaps you could ask for it as a Christmas present.
