Does anybody have any information about a Sarah Swayne born in London about 1830. Sarah was my ggreat grandmother. Sarah married my great grandfather Isaac Sandoe in 1863in Bethnal Green they had children James Sandoe and Sarah Sandoe, i have since found out that Sarah married Isaac Cook in 1852 in Shoreditch and had three daughters Jane, Margaret and my great grandmother Emma they were registered at birth as Cock,On both marriage certificate all details ie occupation, father's name and age are both the same, which leads me to the conclusion that both Isaac's are the one and the same. Does anyone know anything about them? Lorraine

Still at a loss withSarah swayne and Isaac Sandoe any help would be great Sarah Married Isaac Cock sept 1852 in Shoredith and had two daughters Margaret and Emma and then Sarah Married Isaac Sandoe in 1863 in Bethnal green, they had a son James and daughter Sarah, Emma and Margaret were brought up with surname Sandoe. I just find it odd that i can not find a death or birth for Isaac Sandoe, Isaac Sandoe was a mariner on the John Bunyan. Both Isaac's have a father listed as Stephen and both were Mariners so i am thinking they are the same person but can not get any further and hit a wall. can anybody help please. :-D

well, at first sight, if ages are correct, then Isaac Cock was older than Isaac Sandoe............... IC was 26 in 1852, and therefore would have been 37 in 1863

Good find Austin!
I think there is no doubt they are one and same person and, for some reason, he changed his name (and that of his father) and "remarried" Sarah.
The signature of Isaac on both certificates looks similar. And they both appear to have added 5 years rather than 9 years on their ages between the two.
