I have just finished The Legacy by Katherine Webb. What a great book. From New York high society to a ranch among Indians in the early 20th century, and then to England following the same family and Great Grandchildren trying to solve the mystery of what happened to a 20th century family baby, whose was ge and where did he go. A great read and well reccommended. :-D |

Thank you Choccy, I am pretty sure I read it some time many years back. I have several paperbacks in that series but not that one so I have downloaded it to re-read. I loved all that series. |

I am catching up on books that have been sitting on the Kindle for ages and have just finished "Symphony of Echoes" by Jodi Taylor, part of the Chronicles of St Mary's series. It could be read as a stand alone book but there are quite a few references to events in the previous book in the series "Just One Damned Thing After Another" so it is probably best to read that one first. |
