Hi Wattlers, Just popped in while I had the pc free for 5 mins, I have 2 teanager grandsons staying at the moment, they hog the pc when not playing the XBox. They are eating machines, roast dinner last night, cooked eggs/bacon home made bread for breakfast, pizza for lunch(home made), more roast pork for dinner tonight, they love my roasts as you can tell. Hope all the unwell people are feeling better. Gwenda put me on your list for not having large attachements, as we are creepy towards our limit this month. Thanks. Everyone else hope your having a good time what ever you are doing. Have to go now catch you all soon Cheers Sandra in the Gong |

G'day Wattlers I remember my glory box.......Was the top shelf of our floor to ceiling, and wall to wall wardrobe. Had lotsa goodies in there. Have lots of cup, saucer, plate sets and still have so many doilies my Nana used to do for me each birthday and christmas, they just don't wear out. Glad to see you back to your usual self, Shaz. Mad as a hatter !!!!! LOL Laurie did ya git rid of ya nits ?? did ya ??? Maybe Jill could tell you what to use.........NOT Donna, so happy that the news from the specialist is good. The pain is fixable so that will improve you frame of mind too. Zack has done extremely well and glad to see Dan is settleing. That would have to be a load off your mind. Flakey, we'll leave you to your paper work........... Loz, my Mum has a full set of Royal Albert dinner set plus lots of accessories I have bought her over the years. One of the Rose designs - not the country rose but the other. I've told Mum I have laid claim to the set when 'she kicks the bucket' and so has my s-i-l. Standard joke in the family. Would love to go shopping where you go - brilliant prices... Laurie, I don't think what OH is doing at O'Reilleys is interesting ........ collecting snails - yuk. I'm good at standing on them and wiping out colonies of the little bu**ers. He rang me from the museum this morning before they took off, and said the museum want him to do a workshop in Dec in Sydney............mmmmmmmmm wonder if I could hide in his suitcase. Gwenda, I have my dental checkup in a couple of weeks. Have to make the appointment at previous check up for the next one........really hard to get into our dentist. If you are taking over Dr Lew's job and dispensing pills, please send some my way, I could do with quite a few. Btw, please no big files or piccles, have just about used up my months download in just 10 days. I will be getting sooooo frustrated in a couple of days, you will probably hear the head banging and foot stomping from here. Will catch up with the piccles at Mudgee if that is okay.... Lara, glad you and Cassie have some time together. Take good care of the babes..........sorry, can't help with the puta stuff. Nearly 1 year old..........WOW Lara, please slow down, you are making me dizzy....Whatcha going to the GC for? Anything special.....Mini meet ??????? Back later Pam |

Good arvo Wattlers, Took toofy pegs for their 6 monthly checkup this morning so they are all nice and clean again. Weighed myself this morning - lost a whole stone - I don't do kilos - they're too small on the scales to read -lol Anyway 2 fluid tablets have done the trick - ankles are pretty much back to 'normal'. Haven't had skinny ankles for yonks so this is as good as they will get. Have to work tomorrow - drat - was so looking forward to catching up on things around here - pppppp The ironing is breeding like rabbits and I have 2 loads of washing on the line that will add to it - oh well - I'll start with the essentials and slowly get through it all by Christmas. Donna - ((((((hugs)))))) for you - hope the Dr can help Tassie - ((((((hugs)))))) for you too - I have a feral 20 yo with pink hair - well if that's the worst of it I can cope - they have to do their own thing to learn - all we can do is be there for them. Tony - tell daughter to go with gut instincts - take it slowly and make sure her own daughter is comfortable too. Age is nothing these days. My parents had an 11 year age difference and my Dad was nearly 49 when he married for the first time. Jood - how lovely to see your son - hope you can see him a bit more when he's in Sydney Vonny - hope everyone is feeling better now. Bad luck about the car too - what a way to end a perfect weekend. Hi to everyone else ~~~~~~~~~~ hope you're all having a great day. Weather is glorious here. Want to send some piccles of Wattie on hols but need to know who's puta doesn't like big attachments - I'll also have them in Mudgee so you needn't feel that you're gunna miss out altogether. Catchya Gwenda |

Ohhhh Anna . . . is that Arabia Ruska you be talking about . . ?? If it is - we have it too . . . collected it bit by bit when we were first married, (actually 2 bits by 2 bits) . . It's my favourite - and touch wood not one piece has been broken !! I dont care if it is dated either, it matches lovely with all my old bits of pottery. My mum collected Royal Albert 'Sweet Violets' - and she bequeathed it all to me, its not made any more either, so its only dragged out on special occasions. Cup, saucers and plate sets . . . uummmm . . . when my aunty Jen died, she had about 150 of them, collected over a 60 year career as a music teacher - when my sister was divving them up I put my hand up for anything with violets on it and ended up with 8. Fortunately I also inherited the beautiful old mahogony corner cupboard that Jen stored most of them in. Thats another reason why home is up there . . . thats where my treasures still live. When we came down here I arrived with the bare essentials, convinced we would only stay 6 months at most. I have had a lovely morning, took Naomi over to Cronulla and we found a place selling up everything at bargain basement prices. Everything was 10, 15, or 20 dollars - Naomi got a 3/4 coat with $425 on the price tag marked down to $20 - I got 2 shirts and a pair of slax = $35. . . thrifty little shoppers!!!! Lunch down on the beach, and now Naomi has gone off to meet up with her brother for the Dixie Chicks tonight. There is a whole bunch of young folk from out Louth/Cobar way planning to invade Kings Cross after the show so tomorrows tales should be interesting. Sorry you are having such a rotten time Donna, I hope specialist can come up with some solution for your pain management. Thinking of you and sending cyber hugs! Hi Shaz - you cheeky blighter . . . nice to have you back on form !!! (poor Rob. . . teeheee!!!) Fluffy . . . tell everyone what OH is doing with the museum up at O'Reilleys . . . it is fascinating !!!! Today is a tad warmer than yesterday here on the bay, but we have a fair amount of cloud cover that keeps blocking out the sun - was a wee bit chilly down on the beach at times. Not a single giraffe with its neck stretched, plenty of ships at both Port Botany & Kernell. Oh lovely . . . someone in the building has found their electric drill !!! Sounds like it is in my ear so got to get out of here for a while. Catch you all later luv Laurie |

Morning all Still windy here on Bribie with some dark clouds around. Probably won't rain, so I have just been emptying my grey water from the wash maching onto my roses. Maybe I should wash the car, that usually brings on the rain. LOL Quiet day here, oh has gone off to O'Reillys in the Lamington National Park (near Binna Burra) for the rest of the week with the Qld museum doing some environmental studies. Must away, another load of washing is finished....Be back later Pam |

You sound very much better Shaz, going by all your cheek! .. pmsl Another cold morning (it was cold during the night too) - but the sun is out, the sky is blue and not a cloud around. Anna I know and love all those places OH mentioned and I ALWAYS go to a restaurant at the beach when I'm over there, just to watch the sun go down. .. It's never the same two nights running. Anyone had any success with LostCousins????? .. I haint! .. :( Isn't it quiet without the doctor around? :( Have a great day all Love Jood |

Morning everyone Another beautiful sunny DRY day in Queensland. OH reported in again last night - has been to Albany, Pemberton, Margarer River and they are heading back to Perth today. Last night when he rang he was watching the sun setting to the West over the ocean - said it was beautiful. Busy day today - writing group this morning and Genealogy group this afternoon - we have John (who does the Ryerson index) advising us on how to file all the little bit of paper one collects over the years - I certainly need some advice there! Laurie - I love the sound of your 'glory box'' and how wonderful that you still have it to store your special things in. Now there's a piece of history. The first thing I got for my 'box' - as I said, I didn't really have one - was a cup, saucer and plate from my Grandma. Do you remember how popular cup, saucer and plates were? You could collect six different ones and call them a crazy teaset! I still have some of mine - and some of Mum's china - all in a top cupboard and I don't use them. Seems a shame.I still love my brown Arabia stoneware dinnerset that I bought when I was first married. It's really passe but I don't care - love the earthy feel of it Mary - where are you - have you found any nuggets yet? Vonny - hope the family is feeling better. Time to get the girl ready for school - first day back after the holidays. Check in later. Have a great day everyone. XX Anna |

Evening Wattlers . . Glorious moon lit nit on Botany Bay! Boy you have been busy today while I have been walking my legs off around the shops. While you have gone thru 5 pages, I have done most of my Christmas shopping. Naomi and I have blurry heads from too much shop ! She is off to Dixie Chicks tomorrow night, goes back to Dubbo on Wednesday afternoon. 'All packed up in me little bottom drawer is on the cd I have here Anna . . . I'm suppose to be giving Marie all of Dad's cd's - so there is a lot of copying going on! Yes I had my 'Glory Box'. First thing in it was a pair of white frilly pillow cases Mum got out of the Marcus Clarks catledog for me. Glorybox was actually an old gramaphone cupboard that Dad altered for me, made of mahogony. It had two doors that opened at the front - and the lid lifts up (Thats where I stored the 'Special things'). Later became the Nappy cupboard, now is home to lots of 'special' treasures and memories. Lara honey, hope you have a wonderful visit from Cassie & Jason . . .sit back and chill with them . . . no fussing! Suzy, you still haven't got that Vit C into you have you !!!! Hope your feeling better in the morning. All you can wish for Julie is that she be happy - however she finds it. PMSL Tony, thank goodness that teenager stuff is all way behind me . . . but my long term memory is in perfect working condition !!! Hope your daughter sorts out her love life . . . Only she will know what is right for her. You will have to get him around for a family BBQ and sus him out !! See how he measures up under Hull Family scrutiny. Hope your little family are feeling better Vonny, and son & DIL can always come around and wash the dishes for you. Catch you all later . . . I need a cuppa tea! Then bed! luv Laurie |
