Good Morning Everyone, I woke up to blue sky and sunshine but it is now clouded up a little. Will the forecsters ever get it right ? :-D

A bright morning but really cold/chilly wind so far. I'd planned to go into the garden to weed the borders but it might have to wait for a warmer day.

Wow what a morning.I ts white outside and I had a thought that i had missed Summer & Autumn and xmas had come early. Its snowing on & on and the garden is covered.
I truly hope it doesnt stay long or the biting wind to go with it. My daffodils are completely flat now and ruined! Mother nature knows no boundaries as they say.

So lovely to see lots of people on here. Heres hoping it will remain bright & cheery.

I made some Easter vegan chocolate cupcakes yesterday for the first time, iced them and 3 little mini eggs per cake. So delicious as normally because of my egg allergy, I cant eat cakes but these were very light & tasty.

Def not bikini weather here LG so gravy browning it is i think. Don,t want to look pasty white later on..lol

Dermot are you a middle child then? I did a study of families years ago on 1, 2,3 and 5 children. Its very interesting.

I have just looked at the forecast again and it is saying we are going to have sunshine all day but there are flakes of snow coming down now :-S

Good morning all, yesterday was glorious so I am pleased I took advantage and got a lot of weeding done and almost filled the garden bin. That is due collection Wednesday this week. Today here it is quite bright with a light breeze 6 degrees and cloudy. I do hope the snow does not get to us here although tomorrow didn't look good on the forecast with -3 forecast for tonight. Poor plants won't know what has hit them.
I do remember other years when it snowed in April.
Dermot, that is strange neither T or his brother had a middle name. sometimes, if someone doesn't like their first name they are useful, for some reason my son has three names, daughter has two but I think if I remember correctly, all her three boys have three. I think that was to use all the grandfather's etc names.
Enjoy bank holiday Monday whatever you are doing although when you are retired bank holidays like weekends all seem to be the same as normal days. In previous years we would go to a large flea fair at Malvern show ground on this Monday, as we would the May bank holiday. For obvious reasons I would not have gone this year anyway. :-)

Went out earlier to pick some tulips before the cold and daffodil thieves got them. So cold I only picked a couple.

Heating is now back on.

Bob,so glad you mentioned the hoover as mine really needs a spring clean.The rollers have so much hair etc all wrapped around them and needs removing.Snow showers on & off still.went to the bin and oh my brrrr blooming freezing.Yes heating going on again.

I decided that every Sunday Eve,I am going to write a list of jobs to do for the week no matter how small.When the week is up and you have a list of ticks,it will make you feel you did lots of things and that's good for mental well being.

Good afternoon everyone.
There was snow on the garage roof this morning. It is incredibly windy and really cold. I went for my usual walk this morning, it was really hard going walking against the wind. My watch records the distance and also the exercise minutes where my heart rate has been above a certain level. Today I did lots more exercise because of the wind

We had an all day breakfast :-D.

No snow here, lovely sunshine, but it was freezing outside.
I think it's going to be a really cold night - Betty (cat) is inside!
Sister brought her jig-saw up on Saturday, and cut a hole in the door for a cat flap.
Unfortunately, it's a bit wonky, and needs some work, which I only realised yesterday.
As it is a religious holiday for some, I didn't attack it with a drill, so still just have a hole in the door!
The cats love it! Betty has only been in to eat. otherwise, she spends her time on the garden table, or, if it gets chilly, in the pile of overgrown box hedging I hacked down 2 months ago.
She's in now - it must be cold!

George (other cat) spent last summer up a tree!
Now we've moved, I think he's found another suitable tree in the neighbourhood - and there are quite a few to choose from.
Not bad for a cat who will be 15 on July 1st.

Good morning. The sun is shining and it looks lovely outside. ThenI asked google about the weather and was told it is two degrees,but feels like minus four because off the wind. I will be wrapped up well when I venture out for my walk in a while

Good morning all.
Well after yesterdays dusting of snow, I woke up to a complete whiteout!! The road is passable in tracks but garden is completely covered and its freezing.

I heard it on the window about 1am together with a howling wind so like you Joan didnt get much sleep.

So 2 loads of washing done after stripping beds and now drying them off in the tumble drier. This afternoon i shall be busy ironing as i hate to leave a pile of it for days.
Got a Tesco delivery coming later 5-9pm grrr hate the later deliveries but if its the only slot you can get, one has to take it and i am not driving in this weather!

Dermot, the contents of your shed sound interesting. is it an "Aladdins Cave?" Do tell what's lurking in there.. :-D

Maggie. Im so glad you cats have settled in your new home & surroundings. For them to be out more than usual is great and especially at their age.Some cats when you move are scared to go out in unfamiliar surroundings but yours seem very settled.

Just noticing, the snow is starting again now and because of the weather ,no ferries again but we have enough, we wont starve.

Well thats me coffee break over lol better get back to the chores.
