Not really, my voice has come back a little today but the cough is very troublesome at night.

Well then. They are asleep. Now is my chance.

Let me see. A couple of lengths of green tinsel, some gold streamers and a few purple garlands from corner to corner across the room.

A blow up Santa with his finger in the inappropriate position. Santa sitting directly in front of the throne. Twenty five Australian Christmas cards pinned up onto the wall. Each card showing a typical Australian Christmas scene. Hot sultry and a slight smoky haze from a distance burn off by handsome firemen. No snow or anything that looks cold.

A bar fridge stocked with amber liquid and wines. A table set up with glasses and lots of very bad food. Chocolates, gingerbread, biscuits, including those ones we can't buy over here, cream cakes, ice cream, pudding and fruit cake.

A nativity scene in the corner organised by the Cyber Pets. Goodness knows where they managed to find the donkey, but if it does it's business on the throne room floor there will be hell to pay. There is also a sheep near the manger, a basket of kittens in one corner and a couple of doves and two kookaburras sitting up on the curtain rod.

Each wall painted a solid christmassy colour with a band of red and white stripes around the top. More decorations on the walls including a very large Merry Christmas banner. About twenty silver and gold bells handing from the ceiling and in the far corner a Christmas tree with a star on the very top. SweetPea has strung winky blinky Christmas lights across the room and has them connected to the generator in the CPs compound.

That, together with the lovely glitter across the room, should just about do the job.

I'll teach them to paint my walls with chocolate and toffee and let me fall into the vat of pink custard underneath the throne room.

Now I will leave very quietly. After I have shut the door.

Oh wow, it's lovely in here the boakins have rolled in the glitter and are draped across the tree. They make lovely animated tinsel. Large two are decorated with the same and are laying across the top of the doors. Is that 2 Baubles Cuddles is wearing ????? LOL

Aunty Sherlock walks up to door of throne room, puts down broom, mop and vacuum cleaner and looks into room. Aunty Sherlock is very, very surprised.

Apart from a few small changes, ie boakins covered in glitter and Cuddles and Kenny draped in Christmas decorations, nothing has changed. Aunty had anticipated that putting a basket of kittens, a donkey, a sheep, two doves and a couple of kookaburras in a room together with a horde of cyber pets, not to mention a quantity of food, several yards of Christmas decorations, and Sweetpea with a generator and electrical apparatus, should have, by all estimates caused an almighty ruckus.


Well it just goes to show what a marvelleous success we are making of bringing up the cyber pets, their out of control birth rate notwithstanding. Perhaps we'd better make the most of this lull in chaos and celebrate the silly season with a few drinks and some very bad food. It had better be quick because I still don't like the gleam in Sweetpea's eye.

And now I need to tell you about Spot, the striped sabre-tooth tiger who isn't really Spot, like I'm not really, well never mind about that.....

Spot has had a series of misfortunes. Sprained shoulders, sore feet, arthritis, sore ears, doggy bottom troubles etc etc. He also spends a lot of time chewing his feet and scratching.

A couple of weeks ago he managed to get a spiky grass seed stuck between his toes. Now he is the same colour as the seeds so they are very hard to find. The vet took the grass seed out, and gave Spot tablets, ointment etc etc.

About five days ago Spot decided he was going to walk everywhere on three legs. Front right paw off the ground. Nope, I'm not using it, look it hurts. Paw was checked over, no sign of foreign objects. We couldn't remember jamming it in the door either house or car, and anyway Spot would complain in that case. Paw did seem a bit swollen. OK keep an eye on it.

This afternoon I arrive home to be greeted by a very groggy Spot . A very groggy and very strange looking Spot. On his front right paw he has a bandage covered by a bright blue sock. His other three paws have been shaven back to his ankles and bathed in a brown coloured lotion.

OH took him to another vet. Spot has had an exploratory operation on his sore paw. Nothing to be found, might be another grass seed which has infected the area. He has very bad doggy dermatitis on all four paws and under his chin. So Spot now has lotion and tablets for his dermatitis, antibiotics for his paw infection and is prancing around on three paws that look like pig's trotters and a blue sock. And I'll swear that dog looked at me and grinned as if to say, I told you I wasn't well.

Awww, poor old Spot, I hope he's now being treated in the way he thinks he deserves. That's right, everyone run around fussing over him.

My word it looks wonderful in here today, has Santa's little elves (or a big fairy called Aunty) been busy decorating the place? It looks like Santa's very own Grotto.

Morning all. just whizzing through as I have got to find fancy dress costume for later. it is the Rainbow's Xmas party and although I won't be staying for too long cos poor me is still poorly( trying for the sympathy vote here LOL) I have to make the effort to look as silly as possible.

Spot should join with my little cat she is without back right leg as she has torn ligamnets but as soon as it starts to improve the silly devil makes it bad again as she won't rest
