Starting to feel like winter here. It's a chilly 25C here today.

Afternoon all, persistantly raining here and bloomin cold.

hi folks summer lol its freezing fog everywhere its a nightmare getting around today again .I am hoping to star all the youth activities next week we have had such a long break it will be good to get going again and better for my weight too lol

Hi Maz, We started Brownies back yesterday and Rainbows Tuesday. Can't waste any weeks as this year is the Girlguiding Centenary and loads to do.

hello we have too much snow to get out they havent cleared any pavements and its a nightmare getting out once the freeze starts again no-one moves until the next day lol

Most has washed away which is alright unless it freezes tonight.
If I suddenly disappear its because the Brownie leaders have arrived for our planning meeting a bit overdue LOL

Afternoon all. We can see most of the grass out the back, although not yet in the front. Rained a fair bit this morning which helped. We have been promised a balmy 5C for the weekend!

At least Aunty's rain a few days back should have dampened down the grass fires, even if she is now complaining about the cold. 25C? Pah!

Have you had a spend up on Craft supplies yet LG? Loverly Juberly. Perhaps I should start wearing my Guide's badge in honour of the Centenary.

Our temps have been hovering just above freezing.....heavy cloud and mist. If we didn't have the varieties of British weather to chat about......we wouldn't be British! Even those several generations removed seem to have inherited the gene.

I have got up everyday this week and told myself that i would not talk about the weather or moan lol ,I have broken it within 5 minutes of getting up ,
we had a lot of staff fall over yesterday two broke limbs its no fun really

Evening all!!

More snow overnight, but not too much!! Main roads ok, but side roads had black ice. Saw one car just as I was approaching work that had lost it on the bend and slid across the road and up the pavement into the ditch. Half an hour later the police were at the end of the road stopping drivers and warning them to be careful on the black ice. Some were complaining 'haven't the police got anything better to do' !! They can't do right for doing wrong!!

Back again ~~~~~~~~ meeting over and done with. Just got to sort out typing out all the letters and programmes to parents. That can wait until later I think.

Hi everybody, I was very disappointed this morning when I woke up and saw it had been snowing again. I was straight out with my shovel at 5am, had to make sure my son's bus could get to us.................it did!! They said the main roads were OK.

Stay warm everybody.........apart from Aunty, who needs to stay cool.

I have got letters to type and really should start doing little ones birth sampler or she will be a year old before I finish as was the case with Ava LOL
