Morning DET. Yg has a full sized Boa there so I hope he did not get to snuggled up to her LOL.

YG Report 10 Jan 2010 10:09

They worked hard all night, once I had got all the soot off them!! I need to keep them for a while LG, but will return them in good condition >>>>>>
I think!!

DET, I have a 'min' carbon monoxide detector just in case, although I would like to get the proper kit when funds allow. A colleague that I worked with at my previous job lost her husband to carbon monoxide poisoning and she only escaped by the skin of her teeth. They had just come back off holiday abroad during a very cold February and fell asleep in the lounge. It was only her dad, who was concerned that they weren't answering the phone, that raised the alarm, but it was too late to save her husband.

Morning LG. Just hoping that Cuddles(?) didn't decide he needed a snack during the night.

Hope you have recovered from your fall. Do the family need sunglasses to inspect your multicoloured bruises??????

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 10 Jan 2010 10:51

Our predicted temps are to be hovering just above freezing - but that's down by the Thames and we are at a higher altitude. At least our main road is on the County gritting route and fairly easy to get to. So with a bit of luck, I shan't have to walk to school tomorrow. OH says he will knock up a sledge if I like - lol

Mazfromnorf Report 10 Jan 2010 11:20

It must be a little bit warmer here because the icicles are melting and we haven't had a snow storm today, well, not yet anyway.

I've just had a text from Sweetpea, says he'll be home soon. Who let him out?

YG

YG Report 10 Jan 2010 16:53

I just knew he could do it!!!! Good 'un Sweet Pea!! Have you let all the CPs out of the jail??

Hi Pauline, it has been thawing here all day. Still lots of snow around, but the paths are starting to clear and I can see the tops of the plants again!! It is raining now, so I hope it doesn't freeze overnight.

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 10 Jan 2010 17:49

hi there yes it looks as if we have a break but if it freezes then we are in bother though it must be sweet pea changing the thermostat

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 10 Jan 2010 18:24

Although it has been snowing, its been thawing at the same time. All the snow slid off the bonnet of my car (which hasn't been moved since Christmas) with a plop. Hurray!

As you've said, hope it doesn't freeze over night.
