How nice for you to have been able to see your sister today Ann.
My brother only lives about ten minutes away from us, but because of his second wife objecting to his being close to his family, we don't see as much of each other as we should. That also applies to the children of his first marriage, he's allowed very little contact with them either.
No love lost between herself and I as you would probably have realised.

Caz, stay strong love.

Thanks Ann and Mo, Mo the reason I am classed disabled is that I had a virus that got into my spinal chord and damaged the nerves to my legs, but that was ten years ago. All this trouble I am having lately he said is all my nerves wherever they are, I don't understand still and don't suppose I ever will, all I know is that it is very hard to live a normal life.

No more snow here so was able to get to see my sister today for lunch. Had not seen her since August.

Caz, I am sorry the doctor was not able to give you more positive feedback. Maybe knowing what it is somebody will come up with a better way of managing the pain. I do hope so. I hope that, despite the pain, you will be able to enjoy your Christmas.

Caz, I am sorry that the results were not as clear as we all wanted for you.
I was so hoping that they were going to be able to give you a correct diagnosis, after all this time of waiting.
Lets hope and pray that the next nerve testing show more up this time.
I hope to be able to speak to you again before the big day, as I am not going very far.
We do have to go out this afternoon, to take our grandaughter her 18th birthday gifts to her.
She will be receiving money, a key ring and a special glass for the occasion.
Bye for now girls. Love to you all. Mo xxx

Where is everyone, you've all disappeared. For all of you who sent me good wishes for yesterday it was a waste of time going. He still doesn't know what's wrong but he said it was my nerves malfunctioning, my body is not getting the right signals so does it's own thing, usually getting it wrong. I asked him why I get so much pain and am exhausted all the time after even a small job like walking into the kitchen. Nerves again, he calls it altered sensation and there is nothing he can do so it looks like I am stuck with always being like this. I have to go for a nerve test but I have had two before and they didn't show anything up so not holding out much hope.
I would like to wish all my friends on here a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year, lets hope it is a better one than this has been.

It's good to hear you have arrived safetly Ann.
I think people are stupid, if they don't clear the snow from their car roofs. I am surprised they don't realise how dangerous it can be, not only to others, but themselves as well.
Now chill out and enjoy yourselves with your family.

Well here I am down in Hampshire. Roads were not bad at all, just a bit mucky from all the salt. And I do wish people would not drive with their cars covered in snow so that it blows off and at the windscreen of other cars.

Ann I hope you have a safe journey tomorrow, and a Merry Christmas to you and oh. I don't know why this country cannot deal with a bit of snow, when I was younger we had some real snowfalls but everything kept running. I remember going to work one morning the snowplough had been out during the night but the roads were icy, the bus slid down the road and we all held on tight because there was a bend and some houses at the bottom, we thought we were not going to make the bend but the driver ran into the snow the plough had built up in front of the houses. I'll never forget how all the passengers applauded him, now they stop the buses running. I hope it doesn't snow before I get back home tomorrow, I'm not looking forward to going out, the last time was for my scan early in December, but I think I'm in the best place.
We are having a quiet Christmas, just the two of us, our flat is not big enough for visitors to have a meal and I can't really sit in the car because it hurts my back so visiting the family is out as well. we will see them all before the big day though.
Well tea is out so better go eat it.

Love Caz xx
