Jean, thank you for letting us know about Caz. I hope that she will feel better after a few days in bed. Caz, you are in my thoughts and prayers, and hope that you feel a little better soon. We are all here for you, ready to listen and help you when need us.
Marie, lovely to see you home and that you had a wonderful Christmas with your cousins.
Sorry to hear of the trouble your brother is having, let's hope that the water doesn't go through his home. I'll be thinking about him and his family.
Joyce, sorry to hear about Michael, He's in the right place to be cared for so hope it won't be too long before he's well and back home again.
John, my brother was in hospital all over Christmas , he had his gall bladder removed by keyhole surgery the day before Christmas Eve, but they had a problem getting it out, so he had quite a bit of pulling about. Anyway, he wasn't well enough to go home until yesterday.
Ann, pleased to hear that you and T had a lovely Christmas with your family.
Mo, also pleased to hear that you and Roly had a good Christmas with your family.
Huia, I hope you are well and that all was well with Phil over Christmas.
Love and best wishes. Sallie. xxx

Hello to you all, I am sorry to hear that Caz had a fall as well as the negative result from the Doctor.
I am well and had a very nice xmas at my cousins in Brisbane, it rained the whole time but it didn't dampen our spirits. I arrived home on Sunday night and it was raining here as well ,today is Tuesday and it is sunny but there are heavy clouds building up .
I received a rext from my brother who lives in Rockhampton Queensland and it looks like they may have to leave their home as the river is rising,. in fact it is creeping into his front yard. If it reaches the height that they are expecting it will go through his home.,which will be sad.
Joyce, you and Jan are having such a bad time I do hope things improve for you and your family, as Mo say's are prayers are for you and for Caz.
Good evening to you all, XXXXXXX Love & Hugs Marie )()()()()()()

Hello Ann, it sounds like you had a lovely time with the family. So far we have been very lucky in not having any power cuts, fingers crossed it stays that way. Our Dustmen are due on Wednesday, instead of Tuesday this week. I just hope they take all our rubbish away. We can now put food scraps in our garden refuse brown bins. Ours is about half full, and they are not due till next week to collect that, and it's begining to smell. I dread to think what will happen in the summer months, if we get some warm weather. yuk fly's and maggots.

Oh dear Joyce, another problem for you. Poor you and poor son. I hope that he will quickly recover.
I am home now. traffice extremely heavy all the way but no hold ups. Still snow on our drive and on the pavements here but refuse men just been. We stopped offf for coffee and to buy some groceries in Sainsburys then took us a while to unload the car while skidding on ice. Just had to reset all the clocks as they had several power cuts on Christmas eve.
We had a lovely Christmas and then boxing day went to eldest grandson's and met some of Bex's family and had lunch. thirteen adults and three young children!! Sounds a lot but it worked very well and they have decorated the downstairs very well. Just upstairs to do now but we were very impressed seeing that it was like a building site the last time we saw the house.
Caz, sending you special thoughts. What are we going to do with you? Sorry about your fall and hope you soon recover. And by the way your card eventually arrived for which many thanks.

Oh Jean, poor Caz. I think we had better tie her to the chair, so that she doesn't have any more falls, bless her. I will say an extra prayer tonight for her, for a speedy recovery. Take care of yourself Caz. Love Mo xxx
Hi Jean, how are you both today. Staying safe indoors I hope. Us crazy pair, went out to get ourselves a second freezer today. We are fed up of not having the room in the drawer freezer we have at the moment. It was sheer madness at Comets, I think people are buying whatever they need now, before the VAT goes up. It was absolutely packed in the shop, but the services was excellent, I think they were expecting a lot of people and had laid on extra staff. Roly was not amused, when I tried to help him put it into the small cupboard where it had to go. I got stuck between the cupboard door and the freezer, and could not stop laughing at the faces he was pulling trying to get me out. Well it's now placed on top of the original freezer, and thats where it will stay. Tomorrow, I shall go to Ic*lands and stock it up, in case we get the snow they have forecast again.
I have bought myself a lovely dark purple sparkly top and trousers, to wear on New Years eve. Thank goodness for the sales. There was only one top left in my size, and a woman tried to grab it of me,.....tut tut no fear, not when I had got my mitts on it, guess who got it, yep me. LOL
Well girls, I hope you are all well, and hope to hear from you soon.
Special (((((((((((HUGS FOR JEAN, CAZ AND JOYCE)))))))))))))) Love Mo xxx

Joyce, it's good to hear llonka's op went well, and that the family were able to get in to see her. How lovely that she will be home in time for young Dann's birthday. I will look forward to the photo's. Unlike you, we have had no fresh snow, but the stuff that came down last week, is now frozen to our footpaths, and is treacherous. When I went out to help my grandaughter to her car, with her presents last night, we were slipping and sliding all over the place. I could not expect her to carry the gifts, especially being pregnant like she is. I was so afraid she was going to have a fall, like my sons Fiance did. Are you going to have a celebration on New Years Eve. We are going out with the family, to our local golf club. No not to play golf, they are holding two parties there, and we are going to the ground floor celebrations, the upstairs one is a very expensive do,and we can't afford that, not at £55.00 a head. Take care babe. Love Mo xxx

Hello my lovelies, a happy boxing day to you all.
A day to get back to normal, and recover from all the excitement of yesterday.
My lord, I am completely exhausted. I love having the family come for the day, but, I feel like I was on the go from 7.00a.m till 11.30 p.m. With six of us for dinner, and 25 of us last night to feed and keep amused.
I have just finished the clearing up. And I just hope the dustmen will take all the rubbish away with them. There is so much re-cycling stuff to be collected, I think I may need a dustcart just for our own rubbish. lol
I hope you all had a good day yesterday, full of love and joy.
Huia I hope you found Phil well. And that you managed to get all your clearing up done as well. Did they give you a christmas dinner, to eat with Phil. It would have been nice if they did, at least it would have felt like the two of you were as one, even if only for a short while.
I did have one minute of fright yesterday, little mummy was having pains, and I thought we may have had a home delivery. But thank the lord, the pains went away.
I had visions of us all, running round like headless chickens, looking for the scissors, and boiling up kettles of water, in between shoving the grandchildren out of the room, and us all falling over each other.LOL
Linda, I hope your family celebrations go well today. At least your OH can relax today, rather than having to rush out to work.
Welcome Deanna it was so nice to see you post yesterday. As our Jean has said, pop back and see us as often as you can.
I hope Jean, Joyce, Caz, Sallie, Ann,Marie, Marilyn, Debbie and all our friends are well.
Well girls, I am going to be a couch potao for the rest of the day, so I will pop in to see if anyone is around. Bye for now. Love to you all. Mo xxx

I hope none of you has eaten or drunk too much today. But I do hope you all had a lovely day.
Today being Boxing day here I plan to clean up the house, now the rats seem to have given up visiting. I hope the fleas have, too. It has looked so messy with the floor covered in flea powder.
Huia.

Good morning one and all. A happy Christmas day to you all. We have a dry ,bright christmas morning. Bitterly cold, but no new snow thank the lord. At least the family will be able to get through to see us. The table is laid, and I must say it looks lovely. The wine is in the fridge, non-alchoholic for myself and little mummy to be,and normal wine for the tipplers. The younger members of the family will be here by about 5.00 p.m, thats the most thrilling time, watching them open their presents. Well my friends, have a joyous, peaceful Christmas day. Love to you all. Mo xxx

Happy Christmas to one and all.
Enjoy your holiday, those of you who have been able to get away.
I am looking forward to my beef stew and dumplings tomorrow plus a lazy day.
Have still got snow on the ground, but haven't had a snowfall today.
Have been recharging my batteries following the visist of my grandsons, by sleeping on the sofa this afternoon. So should be full of beans tomorrow!

Only another 5 hours to your Christmas Day. Happy Christmas to you all. It is now Christmas morning here. I have finished breakfast and will soon be getting ready to go and spend some of the day with Phil. Our children will not be coming today or tomorrow. Our son is down in Wellington visiting his wife's brothers as she has not seen them for a few years. We will have our family day later when they come back. One day is much the same as another to me.
I am happy to say that the rats seem to have found better pickings elsewhere. I havent seen any sign of visitors for a few days now.
Well I must be off to look at a few other threads before I get ready to go out.
All my love to you all.
