It sounds a silly question but.. why doesn't your mother know if this are her brothers? Can you explain the situation more fully to us and then maybe well understand and be able to help you better. Im guessing your mother was given for adoption. Right? Jess x |

Jennie, janet, Right , know where you are at now, problem with two threads about the same thing it ends up people asking daft questions, like me!! are you still in contact with your dad? does he know if your mother had siblings? I guess you are just going to have to order these two certs- then you will know - do it one at a time at £7.00 each, if the first ties you in then you are there. I don't think realistically there is anyother way. jess |

Your dad must have met your mum's family at the wedding at least. Can he remember any names? Do you have a wedding photo? It might jog some memories with your relatives. |

Karen a really complicated family and far to long to put on here, I just think some people did things really different those day!! My dad really dont know if she had any, and at 82 now his memorys not good, no photos it wasnt a big wedding I only have one photo of my Mum at my sisters wedding and there is only a few people there and I cant really make her out its such a bad photo!! I never really asked about my Mum as we were all happy and i never wanted to upset him in anyway....but kicking myself now! Jennie |
