If possible i am looking for a Frederick and Mary King there ages would be about 30, one of there children was called Frederick he would have been 1 or 2 years.Thank you Lita

She's in the posting I made. - I highlighted the 3 relevant names you gave (Fred snr, Jnr and Mary) with a '?->' at the beinning of the line ... The image shows him as a 28 year old widower and her as 36, Unmarried. Tewkesbury isnt Bristol, I agree - but the 2/3 year old Frederick ..... ? Do you have them on 1881 ? Do you have a post 1871 marriage

1881 - QED I'd say ! They must have married post-1871 and young Fred takes his stepdads name KING. The problem i have is my gg grandfather Frederick King born around 1870ish said born in Bristol his father Frederick.I cant find a birth for him in Bristol with a father called Frederick,(SENT FOR 3 CER) i know his father was dead by 1890 think i found death but no wife 's name on death certificate, so suck with no mothers name,found a Frederick on 1881 with a mother Emma in Bristol work house but looking for a marriage cant find a Frederick and Emma. Been looking for years now.

Did you see above post ref the family in 1881 ? Its pretty conclusive that Frederick married Mary, and young Fred took his name KING. I know Tewkesbury isnt Bristol, but its Glos - not far. In the 1881 census - How many Fred Kings born 1868-1870 ...... about 60 .... how many in Somerset - 2, how many in Glos - 2..... Bristol - 1 ... Heres a Mary Ann - head of house. The thing is i know his father was a french polisher its on both of his marriage certificates and the death certificate of 1873 so he would have been dead by 1881
