Bear in mind that some of the females may have married and therefore be indexed under their married surname. nell

Thanks Heather, I found Eliza and Charles all the way up to 1901, they have been the easy ones to find. Luckily they are my great, great grandparents (Eliza and Charles' children married on another). Many thanks for helping me look. Fern.

Jacqueline, the 1881 can be found on familysearch.org its free to search. The others you have to pay for 1901 is on 1837online and I think the 1861 is there as well but I may be wrong. 1861 -1901 are on Ancestry.co.uk They are all pay per view. Hope this is what you wanted Jenny

Many, many thanks. Will look into these. Just think if this wasn't so hard sometimes it would all become a bit too boring. Fern.

Fern - I too have spent ages trying to find what happened to brothers and sisters, and some elude you for ages then suddenly turn up, some turn out to have died young, and some to have emigrated. It may well help if you can trace some family wills; I have found them invaluable. Kate.
