Hi I have just been into my 'your names' list and just had a quick flick through my Evans names put in '1 day ago' Found 1 that made me laugh...name ... Evans..Birth place...''On the sea coming from Wales''...It made me giggle and I just wondered if anybody else had seen any funny birth PLACES (not towns) listed in names list. Lesley :~) |

Over the Severn, Swansea to North Devon perhaps? I am an Evans too but as far as I know my ancestors travelled by road. Clive |

The Severn Bridge was not there then, so they could have used the ferry rather than travel by road around Gloucester to get to and from England and Wales |
