Glad its not just me too! There is a round-a-bout way that you can get in contact with the person you received the message from. Its a little long winded, but worth it if you discover they are a relative. You basically just have to search for the person that you contacted them about in the first place - will be easily marked that you have already contacted them so you know its the right person. And just send them a message from there again. Just wanted to share this little tip with you all as I was getting very annoyed with it earlier today.

Genes team message on General Board Genes Reunited site upgrade Hello, We apologise for any inconvenience you may have experienced with the site over the last few days. Our technical team will be putting in an upgrade in tomorrow morning. They have been working very hard over the last few days to identify and resolve the problems that some people have experienced with the site and the message boards in particular. Unfortunately this process takes a little time and a lot of testing, so please bear with us while we seek to improve things. This ongoing work means that message board postings will not show on the Tree Matches page for the next few days. This upgrade also introduces some items requested by members such as clearer explanations of tree permissions on the Contacts Page, alterations to gedcom upload processes, a new way of saving place of birth data on the tree builder and some new features on Tree Matches. Hi i have the same, i noticed when i read a message i had received. seeing as there was no reply button on the message i when to my message sent box and have the same thing on the bottom of 2 messages i have sent, didnt look at any more am guessing theat they will all have this on. I havre emailed GR team but as it is the week end i wont hear anything till in the week. Im glad to know its not just me, i thought i had sent some info that was not allowed lol. Shaz :-)
