If you add a person, i think you still have to add a partner to that original person before you can add a child. Having added that child, i think you then have to work off that child (and add siblings) not off the parent. ~ does that make any sense at all? Jess |

Shirley~I,m getting the hang of it | Report | 29 Jul 2005 13:52 |
Hi I had the same problem ,then sussed it out as once you add a child ,you then add the next ones a siblings. Had similar problem adding parents, then realised you add one parent then add the other one as partner to the first parent Shirley |

Brenda You should be able to access your tree in the new format - I have. Just click on My Family Tree on the left hand menu and see. nell |

Do you use Mozilla? If so they are having problems with it which they are trying to sort out, according to GR Support. I can't add/amend anything at the moment |

To 'have a child' a person must have a partner. Do you have two people as parents or just one ( just tried to add a child to my late brother to see and no, 'add a child' isn't highlighted and he doesn't have a partner) Jess |

Claire I've just added a whole raft of children - but after I entered the first as Add a child, it kept this child's details and the Add a Child button wasn't highlighted - but at the end of the options was Add a Sibling. Hope this helps. Nell |

It's working OK for me. Have you got a couple to add a child to, or just a mum/dad? nell |
