Liz - you're from Yorkshire so presumably you know about FWKs (Frame Work Knitters) and have eliminated them from your search for FHKs. Posted this 'just in case'. Regards, Anne |

Thanks Lib, I think the woodman will be right as the son and Grandson were gardeners, but the other one is a man too, so I don't think it will be housekeeper, can you tell me which site you go on to find old occupations please?Thanks, Liz. |

Found these on old occupation sites: WOODBREAKER A person who made wooden water casks. WOODRANGER A person in charge of the forest or woods. WOODREEVE A person in charge of the forest or woods.
