Oooh - theres a big gap in to the births in Birmingham from about 1852 to 1859 on FreeBMD - looks like they might not have been transcribed yet. Looks like this could be another Frank! Will keep looking for you. PS I think tree hunting may be taking over our lives... |

Thanks ladies XX Joan, you have the right family in 1851( you kindly found them for me before and they checked out to be the right ones) Plus you are right about 1871, Eva is living with her aunt Eleanor and one of Eleanors other neices - Mary Ann I don't know if Mary Ann and Eva are cousins or sisters, I've been trying to work this out myself. So Henry is Mary Anns father, in which case he might be Eva's father too? I was guessing that it could have been William, Thomas's son on the 1851 census. Can't find him anywhere else tho. I will look into Henry (do you think he is Thomas's brother?) But wouldn't Eva be listed has Thomas's niece rather than grandaughter? Man - I am soooo confused!!! |

Hi Mandy Sorry I forgot I had sent you the 1851 census before....senior momnet. If Eva H is Eleanor Waldron's niece, and Eleanor , who was single, is sister in law to Tnomas and Mary Ann then she must be Mary Ann's sister. All very straightforward...except the age Mary Ann would have been in 1855... It really is confusing Joan |
