also 2nd request. His wife Elizabeth Boyd (nee McGivern) married again to a Walter Hibbert and had 2 more children Elizabeth and Matilda. I have found references for the children's births, but cannot find the marriage.

Here's the second marriage: Marriages Dec 1891 Boyd Elizabeth S.shields 10a 997 Cowley Margaret Ann S. Shields 10a 997 Hibbard Walter S. Shields 10a 997 Hibbart Walter S. Shields 10a 997 Snaith Lancelot Hogg S. Shields 10a 997 I have not looked for the birth yet, but it wasn't compulsory until abt 1875, so maybe he wasn't registered? Which years have you already searched, and was that on 1837online? Sarah

Now you mention Isaac as dad, i will post this which I dismissed earlier as the actual page says Boyer too: Ann Boyer abt 1845 Heaton, Northumberland, England Daughter Prudhoe Castle Northumberland Isaac Boyer abt 1806 North Shields Head Prudhoe Castle Northumberland John Boyer abt 1849 Heaton, Northumberland, England Son Prudhoe Castle Northumberland Joseph Boyer abt 1858 Gateshead, Durham, England Son Prudhoe Castle Northumberland Margaret Boyer abt 1816 Byker, Northumberland, England Wife Prudhoe Castle Northumberland Margaret A Boyer abt 1855 Gateshead, Durham, England Daughter Prudhoe Castle Northumberland Michael Boyer abt 1853 Gateshead, Durham, England Son Prudhoe Castle Northumberland Thomas Boyer abt 1842 South Shields, Durham, England Son Prudhoe Castle Northumberland Isaac, Thomas and John are coalminers and their addy is ''New Houses, Prudhoe castle, Northumberland'' Suppose would need to check if this is the WRONG family, by looking for Boyers on the later census records!! omg That is amazing. and looks like it could be promising. I wonder if it is. I have been brickwalled by Isaac for so long.

I haven't got time to look properly right now, but looking quickly on 1871 for ANY Boyds Boyers or whatever, nothing stands out yet!! Maybe you could try 1881 on the LDS as it's more forgiving on spelling?? Sarah

i have found births for Joseph Boyde reg Gateshead in 1857, which sounds like the same one as your boyer, and also a Margaret Ann Boyd reg gateshead in 1856, and a death of an ann boyd in 1889 age 44, which is the right age for Ann Boyer if she did not marry. I cannot afford to send for the certs just now as I have just been naughty and sent for (cough cough) a few others (don't tell anyone).
