I have a book with loads of old photos of Highworth and surrounding villages. there are lots of photo's of named individuals too. Hi Mandy Could you look for George Hunt and his wife Fanny (Bingham). They were in Highworth/Swindon area until c1890. George was a foreman at a lumber yard and in 1881 they were living at 16 Rushy Platt, Swindon. Many thanks, Richard |

Hello, I'm looking for Surnames --Trueman and Tanners --in Wiltshire. James Trueman(head) wife unknown - children Kate Trueman- Frank Trueman and William later he remarried Julia Tanner and they had Elsie Ellen Trueman. I wonder if there was any mention of a baby being left by a nurse named Alice Gardener who was sent to jail for 6 months. Please let me know. regards Jenny |

That's a kind and thoughtful offer. I doubt that it would stretch as far as Ashton Keynes - beyond Cricklade - but, if it does, I have TAYLOR and BOULTON family from there in 19th century. Christine |
