I imagine with her unique name she may be under a incorrect spelling or under another name such as Ann. Or was she married before? Pippa

Montmorency Report 24 Sep 2005 20:25

FamilyRelatives has this marriage: 1914 Apr-Jun Curtis, Hephzibah A, Wells, Loddon 4b 493 If she's a widow, that will be her married name. Or, if she's the same one Jess found in 1891, then it looks like she's still a spinster

1901 does have a Hester Curtis who fits the description. As she's in service away from home there's nothing to say it's her. But I can't see a birth for a Hester Curtis

I' say that Heter was your girl Too - reading the image she is born in Monks Toft - look s like that to me anyway. View Record Marian Broom abt 1841 Ubbeston, Suffolk, England Head Hemsby Norfolk View Record Marion Broom abt 1880 Upton, Norfolk, England Daughter Hemsby Norfolk View Record William Broom abt 1866 Moulton, Norfolk, England Son Hemsby Norfolk View Record Hester Curtis abt 1880 Sotfmonks, Norfolk, England Servant Hemsby Norfolk Mr Broom is a farmer and she is just a genreral servant. Dont forget, there are nearly 15 years before she marries , she may well have worked at sandringham in the in-between years - i would have said that she was a bit young to have been cook in 1901 anyway
