hi all, I hope now the that the 1851 census is online with ancestry, that you have not spent all day and night peering at your monitor? Now you know its here you can always come back to it so when the clock at home chimes 10pm, then off to bed for your beauty sleep. That applies to the guys as well as the dolls. In my case it will take more than a few hours to bring back my looks, but thats another story. TED. |

You're not serious are you Ted - 10 o'clock !!!!! I'm lucky if I get to bed by 1 a.m. without the 1851 to look at. Not a chance of getting to bed any earlier now. lol Kath. x |

Oh dear, sounds to me as though you are all addicted, looks like the only cure is 'cold turkey' locked in a room with no tv, no pc, no broadband, no 1851. Well yes they are all there BUT the switch is outside the door which is locked and bolted and on a time switch not to open until 1st December 2005, AND to make it worse you can see the switch through a tiny crack in the door. What a funny man you are Ted . . . . and we still have 41 to look forward to . . . We are all contributing to the economy - the electricity companies love us - I'm so having fun - unravelled a few more mysteries, added a few new names . . who needs sleep! cheers Laurie |

Tina, I was thrown out of the GESTAPO because they said I was too cruel. And yea Im still looking for them, but from what i've read half of the Manchester census are damaged with water, so I might never find them. TED. XX |

Are you starting your torture? What am I going to do? I might have to have an early night - SHOCK, HORROR. Jean - I was just going to have a look for your George Jones -sorry I disappeared just after you posted. Kath. x |

Ted I was at the FRC last week and they mentioned that the Manchester FH society had been working on transcribing the water damaged records. They would be unlikely to make Ancestry but might still be availble(c90% I think) Good Luck! Kevin |
