Georgina and Victor, dont know how I missed on 1837 checked abd double checked or so I thought, must be kn****ered but Thanks very much to you both !!! Dont know wether wrong birth cert or wether name wrote in wrong, but all info I have is that her mother was Goymer but for the sake of an extra W/C will get that and see if another Jemimia Sarah Braddy listed. Thanks again Babs |

Babs If you are convinced that the BC of Jemima Sarah is the correct one, then mother's name must be Foreman and Goymer does not come into it. You will now need to look for a marriage of Caroline Foreman to Richard Braddy. If you think it is still Caroline Goymer that married Richard Braddy, then you have the wrong BC. The other alternative is that Caroline was married before, Foreman was her married name and Goymer was her maiden name. Victor |

They could have married much earlier, and either didn't conceive (even in those days fertility wasn't guaranteed) or lost babies in infancy. Marriage was legal from 14 years for boys and 12 years for girls remember. Liz x |

I have been trying to find the marriage of my g.g.grandparents but there is a bit of discrepancy;;; Richard Braddy b.1832 from Cowlinge Suffolk. married Caroline Goymer or Foreman had 1st daughter Jemimia Sarah Braddy 14/5/1857 so would have thought they would have married about 1855/57 but I have looked through 1837 site Jan /March 1855 up to april/june 1857 and cannot find anywhere (that I could read that is ) Thanks for any help Babs |
