Do they do the 4 or 6 pockets ones? Ive got a mix of one pocket, 2 pockets, 4 and 6 with my order but find I need a lot more of the small pics size.

I'll pop to my local one on my way home from work to see if they have them in. If not, I'll order them. Thanks everyone :)

There we are then.....anyone who has a Smiths with those assistants who look at you blankly when you ask - you can quote the product code!! Merry

Thanks for the tip about the website Maureen. They have them on there at £1.79 at the moment which is a saving of 10%. Considering how much time I sit in front of this computer, you'd think I would remember about using websites wouldn't you. Thick or what???? Kath. x

I have the same as Kathleen from WH Smith Bar Code no: 0071 5119 When I bought them a few weeks ago they were priced £1.99 for 50 x A4 but were on special offer - 99p!! I think it was an offer for the beginning of the school term. You can buy them through the WH Smith website too if you are not near one. Maureen

Aha Merry, you're wrong - I still have the packet. If the product number is the one at the bottom of the barcode then it's 0071 5119. There's a customer relations phone number on the bottom too - 0870 444 6 444. Kath. x

Kathleen, Do your Smiths pockets have a product code number on the pack (bet you have thrown it away!!???) Merry

Well, it was cheaper than some other sites and I dont have a Smiths and they were so nice and mixed and matched the different pockets for me, so I was pleased with them. I think there must be a difference in the archival quality. Sometimes its nice just to have it all done and dusted and I wanted the album ready for dads funeral.

I've just had a look on the site Heather, but it seems too expensive to me. Kath. x

Ive just bought an album and a selection of acid free 'archival quality' sleeves from www(.)my-history(.)co(.)uk I ordered them yesterday and they arrived this morning!

I live in Teesside and Smiths never seem to have them round here - in fact they don't seem to have any idea what you are talking about when you ask for them. However, Val on this site sold me some as she'd got plenty when they were half price at just 99p. for 50. When i received them, I noticed that the 'acid free' is written in very small writing at the bottom of the packet, and I think I might have looked at them in Smiths and just thought they were ordinary plastic pockets, so I'm going to check next time I go to Middlesbrough. They might just have them, and I've missed them because of this. Kath. x

Smiths are by far the cheapest (in fact so cheap I hardly believe they can be the same product as other places - but that's the sceptic in me!!) I would ask if they can order some in for you. Merry

Where is the best (and cheapest) place to get them? I though Smiths would have them, but they don't (round here anyway)
