Hi All I was wondering how well transcribed the 71 is for the Birmingham area as I have two families from different parts of my tree that are missing but are on the 1861 and 1881. Would be good to know why? Or did B'ham disappear into a back hole? Cheers in advance Kaz |

Do you have address for 1861 and 1881 for either family please jess 1861 36 harding(?) St.. |

Kaz, not be faceitious (??) but isnt your canal boatman possibly on a canal on the census night? They used to have the whole family with them helping out so that may be your answer. Try rootsweb site for canal and water people. |

Hi Heather Yes you're right, I have considered this and will have a look at the site but his father was also a boatman but lived in same area and his wife did after his death. Thanks for the advice Kaz |
