I have a Ruth Henelly Born 1856 Manchester Married Andrew Henellyin W/Derby in 1877 living at Kew St on 1891 census Does not seem to be on 1901 census but i can only think she died. I have tried to find her but cannot. Help Please.. |

Where have you looked for the possible death ? FreeBMD and/or Ancestry (both free to search) and 1837online (pay per view site ) Dancer :-) |

Pat i had got it wrong she wasnt there on 1891 it was 1881 32Reading St St Kirkdale Lancs. |

On the image for 1891, Andrew says that he is married not a widow. I found this in 1891, Ruth Henley, servant in Bootle, born 1857 in Manchester. It says on the image that she is married. Pat |

It could just be that she was working on the night of the census. I cant find any of them in 1901 yet. Have you? Pat |

Pat they arnt on but in 1903 andrew son of Ruth got married and andrew father was on wedding Cert.. |

This is the closest match I can find in 1901, Andrew Henny b 1846 Ireland Tottington Andrew b 1880 Annie b 1887 Frank b 1890 Hanor b 1851 Kate b 1874 Maggie b 1872 Mark b 1888 Mary b 1893 Thomas b 1878 Maybe Ruth did die and Andrew remarried Hanor? The other children could be hers from a previous marriage. Pat |
