I can't for the life of me find my Hulme family! I've got Elizabeth Ann Hulme born 1864 in Biddulph, Staffs, living in sin with my GG Grandfather in 1891 as his Housekeeper and then they married in 1893. Her father's name on their marriage cert is Richard Hulme but I can't find them on any of the 1851 to 1881 census'. Can anyone help me please......c.....xx

dont worry about it, I'm certainly not! anything clanging any bells or is there nothing to clang? Jess

~Little Ray of Sunshine~

~Little Ray of Sunshine~ Report 4 Nov 2005 20:47

I didn't want you to think i'd wasted your time There isn't really anything to clang coz I've only just found out about her Father.....ooooh just remembered that he was a Hawker on her wedding cert! While she was living with Henry in 1891 she was still on by her maiden name and down as unmarried and it looks like she already had 2 children before they were married. now their names are Samuel Hulme b c1886 and Mary b c1890 but i don't know if they were Henry's or not I'm clutching at straws here lol c x
