I've just logged on, I don't know whether I need stronger glasses but I can't find 'Name Summary' is it me or is it missing from the list on the left. Rosemary |

I can't see it either - if they want us to manage with search and hot matches it will make it harder! |

Rosemary, quote from the new page 'We have improved the 'Your names' and 'Name summary' pages to create My tree matches' Just click on Search at the top of the white part of the page to take you there. Then on 'my tree matches' Also when you go into the site for the first time, if might load the page from cache. Click Refresh then resize to choice to get the new effects and font. Jeanette, Havent had that problem. I've posted a few messages tonight and have edited them all before sending them. Just move up or down using cursor keys or mouse pointer as normal. |

Jean, If you have only just logged on then you are getting the previous version of the page from cache. Just click Refresh, should sort itself out. |

Almost had a coronary when I logged on, due to my recent tussle with Gremlins - thought I had been kidnapped onto a spoof site. However, now I have calmed down, I have to say I LOVE it for two reasons. 1. That annoying advert halfway down the page on the left has GONE! 2. For the first time since I became a member I have the whole page width without having to scroll continuously to the right to get the end of each line. (Trying to resize the page never worked permanently for me). Perhaps the sore on my right wrist bone will now have a chance to heal! Olde Crone |

I hope they've not finished rolling out the changes. The new version of the site crashes Mac Internet Explorer every time. It doesn't display properly in Safari, despite endless refreshing. The links don't fit in the green leftmost space. Instead they display at the top of the screen, and then everything else is displaced, lying partly in the green area. It's a mess. The new tree view doesn't work for Mac users either (nor does the very newest beta version, so far as I can tell). |

It's odd, when I checked out Genes at work I really liked the new layout. The links on the side were nicely laid out with sub-headings between them. I get home and the links are all squashed into one long list of hard to read blue and pink (very small) writing. I've tried refreshing but nothing changes. 'sigh' Sylvia |

Just hope that the new owners have someone who knows a bit about the Internet. I have not been online since the end of last week and just went to reply to some messages through GenesReunited - if they had a sensible message system I could have replied days ago but just been downloading mail until tonight. I was amazed to find that I am now expected to reply to messages in a box about 1' wide on my screen. I know they need adverts but do they have to p### off subscribers so much. I have yet to see an improvement ever in GenesReunited. Each change just makes it worse. Martin |
