Sorry, only just caught up with this one. Do you mean print the notes separately? Have you had a look at the help info on the program. I have to say Im so lazy I havent checked out all the possibilities on it. Why dont you go to my-history site or S and N and send them an email asking about it. I guess I should one day sit here and read all the help notes,. I suppose thats why they offer a companion booklet or cd for sale!

When I print a genealogy report on FTM 2005 I can print all the facts and notes. I don't understand why you can't. Have I misunderstood your question? Kat yes and you can batch print the notes individually too.

Hi Babs There is an option in 'File' to 'Batch print Family View/ Notes'- If you click on this you the get a choice of what to print, i.e, Family View, Marriage Notes or Individual Notes. There is also a Research Journal on it where you can create a to do list for each individual and print it off as and when you wish to. I have recently upgraded from Version 8 and I am really pleased with it. Simone x

Heather - what I really want to know is whether the 2006 lets you print the Facts and Notes (stored in 'edit individual boxes). Can you tell me please?!! Maz. XX

if you go to the my-history website they have a useful little comparison chart of all the versions, what they contain, what it would cost to upgrade etc. I upgraded my 2005 to 2006 for about £18 I think. To be honest it doesnt seem to have a lot more knobs and bells than the 2005 so I wouldnt bother upgrading from 05 to 06 guys.

Mine is Version 7 - August 13, 1999 Don't know if I want to upgrade - am quite comfortable here in my rut. Has anyone had any of these older versions and then upgraded and liked what they got? Babs, I think the notice means that the ''support'' for version 10 ends Nov 30th, but if you upgrade to FTM 2006 for 19.99 the ''support'' will continue (plus you get the chart companion for free). FTM 10 and FTM 2005 or 2006 are very different. From 2005 to 2006 there are not so many differences. 2005 is a completely different layout to earlier versions - I like it more. BUT there are things I don't like about it too - the Facts box for example - you can't print it like on V10, and you can't print the notes either grrrrrr. Am hoping that 2006 has put this right. I think the Charting Companion may make it worth buying too. This months YFT has a trial version of 2006 and an article about it - at least if you look at that then you could work out if you have 2005 or version 10!!! Maz. XX ps - last year I upgraded from v10 to 2005 - I am sure you can still do it, but check before you buy!
