Hi, I have a subscription to Ancestry UK and, until today, have never been able to access the US Censuses. It usually offers me an upgrade!!! Anyway today, chasing relatives that emigrated, I found myself on 1930 US Census and to my surprise, when I clicked on 'View Image', it opened!! So I have been chasing all sorts around America!! Has this ever happened to anyone? Is it just today? Or have I been missing something??!! Hazel |

Hazel thanks for the info, it only lets you view 1930 census but that is better than nothing. Georgina. |

Wow, I've found out loads about my American rellies, whether or not they had a radio set, how much rent they paid per month for their house.... thanks very much for the tip! Only 1930 for me, though. Kate. |

Dea, I think it is only if you are subscribed to Ancestry - go to Ancestry.Com and click on the census you want. It has worked on 1910 1920 and 1930 for me - no Canada though. Hazel |

How do you get to the American census? My page opens with options for English or Welsh censuses. If I put in United States as birth place, I get people in the home censuses who were born in USA but came to England. Monica |

Hi: Just wanted to let you know that I tried it too and I found relatives I was looking for. Thanks a lot. Monica - just go to the bottom of the screen you will see U. S. Ancestry at the bottom in small letters, just click and go into 1930 census. I couldn't get on any of the other census. Regards Shiela |
