Do you not save the images when you go on 1837Online? I save all mine so I can go back and look later. Christine

merry, hiya, to be honest I use the family site, I use 1837, because its convienent if you want to order a cert from GRO you dont have to move to another site. What do you advise and which in your opinion is the best, oh and the cheapest? TED.

Ted, A little 'aside' here: William Richardson Lunt c1876 Mary Ellen Lunt c1877 Children of Thomas Richardson Lunt + Margaret Ann Kent Liverpool area - any connection? Dea x

so you got a cold eh, welcome to the club. Is it what you wanted? No they arent min Dea, but I know who they are. My tree goes back to 1756 when my g/g/g/grandfather RICHARD LUNT married ANN TAYLOR a widow of LOW HILL, LIVERPOOL, 1782, he being a tailor, and he had 2 daughters and one son, the son being my g/g/grandfather JOHN. Now by a strange coincidence the lady connected with those names you put up, well her g/g/g/granddad was RICHARD LUNT and on her tree she just has his name and birthdate being 20years earlier than my RICHARD and she has the name TAILOR besides his name. now we dont know whether he was a tailor, or he married a TAILOR, but the coincidence goes on because RICHARD had 2 dau and 1 son, ALL WITH THE SAME NAMES as my RICHARD but 20 years earlier. And it doesnt stop there because in the marriage of my RICHARD to ANN one of the witness's is LUKE LUNT and on my JOHN LUNT to MARY COWARD, one of the witnesses is HENRY LUNT, both of these names being on her tree, not on mine, yet we cant find a connection, if we could then we would have one large very large tree of a couple of hundred names, BUT we cant, but what a coincidence one RICHARD LUNT with 2 girls and 1 boy born 20years earlier than my RICHARD LUNT with 2 girls and 1 boy, AND ALL WITH THE SAME NAMES. one day we will find a connection Im sure, there must be one somewhere.. Sort that one out for me. ps I wont flirt with you this time. TED XX

In answer to your Q about 1837 v Family Rellies......I use Family Rellies because I find it cheaper......I don't have a problem changing sites re ordering certs because I have only bought two this year!! (LOL) The only frustration I have with FR is that it doesn't have the overseas stuff that's on 1837. However, now that 1837 has extended it's 50 unit expiry to three months, I have a fiver going on that site and either £8 or £12 on Family Rellies. I am pretty economical with lookups, as I am willing to spend time doing the View Images thingy on FreeBMD. Hubby, on the other hand, rattles through ten years on 1837/Fam Rellies, on a whim, looking for something vague!! Ah well!! Merry
