hi, i think ozi may of been right about emma and john clutterbuck both dying and thats why i cant find them on 1901 census. the wierd thing is, is that on 1891 census louisa is on it with her parents and 2 sisters called emily 2 and rose 10. now when i look on 1901 census i find an emily who's age matches and she listed as niece to head of the house, which would be right if both her parents die....but theres no sign of rose or louisa..is that normal does any1 know? thanks for any help given!! :o) |

hi ozi thanks for that ill have a look now..ive just looked at the census again and if the clutterbuck family jeanette found is the right 1, the mother emma was about 46 in 1891..so if your date of death is the right 1 do you think it could be wrong by a few years? i know a few people say that there can be a lot of typing errors in the census and bmd's? |

hi, thank you 2 both of you, you replied so quick! well when i was trying to find louisa's birth entry (i havent got her certificate yet) i found an entry which was in birmingham..and i know that, that is where she lived all her life..but i looked and worcestor is not to far away..maybe she was born in birmingham the family moved for work and she moved back later..i get very confused at all this i have to say im a bit of a novice and im not at all clever at this kind of thing lol. my mother cant really tell me much either as she doesnt remember. i have looked through the 1901 and 1891 census and i cant find any record of them being in birmingham which i thought was a bit odd as i thought she lived there most of her life |

hi, ive been trying to find my gr grandmother louisa clutterbuck. i have her marriage certificate and it says her fathers name was john clutterbuck although he was deceased at that time and she would have been born around 1886. her fathers occupation was put down as a stationary engine driver.. the thing is i cant find them on the 1901 or 1891 census either. i keep looking and either im missing something or theyre not there. does anyone know why this could be? any help anyone could give would be greatfully recieved thank you :o) |
