When opening a new thread - Could I suggest something which I think would be of help? I often see a new thread and click on it and it says 'see below in a mo' or something similar - I then 'wait with baited breath' for somethingg more to be added on............ What I do is open the thread with a title, then type in the whole message, then 'cut' the whole message and type in the 'see below'. Then I add the thread, open reply to thread, paste the whole message and no-body is kept waiting. !!!!!!!! PLEASE do not take this as a criticism - only a 'tip' to make things flow better. Dea x |

and I type the ''below '' bit in Notepad and then copy it over after I've typed ''See below in a mo''.....then everyone thinks I have sooper-dooper typing skills, when actually only two fingers! (I'm sure Bev will get there eventually!! LOL) Merry |

Notepad is a text editor....it's a little program that comes with Windows.......But you could use a wordprocessing program or anything like that...........Just somewhere from where you can copy and paste into the GR box when you have got it ready..... Merry |

Notepad is Microsoft's basic text editor. Click on 'Start' then 'Run' type 'Notepad' for the program to open Type in your text, clean it up and correct mistakes and spellos then copy, Go to GR Add your header then post Add reply and copy your text in. You could also use Word or any other word processor, rather than Notepad. |

Yes, these are all brilliant tips (I shall make use of them) but personally, I don't mind a bit of drama and 'waiting with bated breath' in my life! ;-) Cheers, Horatia |

Depends how long you have to wait...! Watching the sun set can be very agreeable, though |

Brilliant idea, Dea. I only wish I'd have seen it some months ago!! I use it now and then, since hubby saw me having probs typing furiously, then gently suggested I did what you've mentioned. x |

I do it because if you type the entry on the first message of the thread it bunches it all all like at the top of the page. But if you put in a message underneath you can space it out nicely like this. |
