Hi Jan, I have had a lot of help on here trying to find this family. Unfortunately someone was quite rude on here too, saying I had taken up enough of people's time. I would rather not ask again so wondered if I could get some help elsewhere. Thanks very much for your offer. It's very kind of you Linda |

Go for it!! I haven't asked many times for help - but each time it is about the same person (I'm gearing up to ask again too). I think everyone is happy to help - or like me (I DO look things up on Ancestry but either I am doing something wrong or am just plain bl**dy incompetant because if I do manage to find something useful ten other people have beaten me to it) - I read, learn and try to remember. Hi Linda That's 6 of us so far offered to help you, we are all waiting with baited breath. Hopefully between the 6 of us we can get you a little (or a lot) further in your search. Don't worry about what THEY say, most of us are lovely people and only to happy to help as we are the ones that realise that someday we will need help too. Kath xx |

I had someone message me once, thankful for the help I had given, but upset because someone else put ''haven't you asked this before'' SO WHAT! fresh pairs of eyes 'n' all that I am definitely Lovely! What about the rest of you?? Hands up if you're LOVELY.............. |

It',s nice to know that there are people willing to help. I have found that out myself , if you keep looking and don't find then when you ask there is always someone there to help. I sometimes am afraid to ask, but when all else fails , and need a second pair of eyes , It nice to know you are all there to help. Helen |
