For the past 2 days i have not been able to view images on the BMD the place where it should say view image there is no icon! I have tried loging out, nothing. I have tried typing in the adress, nothing. I have tried turning off the computer, nothing, I have e-mail them, nothing Has anyone had this problem, if so how did they cure it ? Or is it just me. I do have a subscriptuion.with Ancestry although the BMD is free at the moment. Any ideas that anyone has i would be greatfull. Ann

I'm sure I answered this before. Have you tried emptying your temporary internet files? Other than that it sounds like you have server problems - have you checked your ISP's(Internet Service Provider) webpage to see if they are experiencing problems? Cheers, Horatia

Sorry i think i may have mislead you. I can get on the Ancestry site ,but when i want to look for a body and get as far as finding the 1/4 there is no icon for the view image. Ann

Ann I don't know why the link to the image is missing, but if you go back to the main home page you can go striaght to the images. Follow the on screen instructions to get to the image you want Hope that helps Elly

What have you in place of the image icon? Do other websites load OK? This sitll sounds like a connectivity problem to me. Cheers, Horatia

Hi Horatia, the rest are fine, its just when you get to to 1/4 you want where it says view image, it's blank. Thanks Ann

You should have a word with your ISP. I don't think this is Ancestry's fault otherwise we would ALL be suffering from the problem - it must be YOUR end and it sounds like the company who provide your internet service are at fault. Have you tried emptying your temporary internet files? I keep suggesting this and get no response. Cheers, Horatia

Hi Ann, You won't mess up the PC emptying Temporary Internet Files. Do you use Internet Explorer for your web browser? If you do I can talk you through it. YOu have just posted about 6 messages all the same - it is your PC at fault I think! Cheers, Horatia
