Have found my great grannies birth ( she wasn't that Great really , a bit of a wide old girl ) Etel May Welton She was born in Sept 1892 vol 9c page 632, she had my grandfather in 1916 and then married in 1920 to a man called Rogan, but they called themselves Warren!! What I need help with is finding her and her family on the 1901 census if possible, I have an address where my grandfather was born but that if 15 years after the 1901 census 316 Penistone Road Sheffield Yorkshire. Any help appreciated as it is the one side of my tree I've not been able to back on for the last 6 months, if all else fails I will send for the birth cert for her mothers name but it won't help me find where they came form or what they did Thanks in advance Joanne

Thanks but she is definatley born in Sheffield and lived there after having my grandfather until the day she died, can't see it been those in Lincolnshire Just checked IGI and the ethel on the 1901 in Lincolnshire was also born there, so it isn't one of mine Thanks

Thanks Already seen those in Sheffield, but no Ethel with them! God know where she was, God knows where she is even buried, this women is one on her own and left a right mess and lies behind her - oops better be careful my have a rellie on here who make take offence to me picking on our Ethel

Not the Walton one tried them went back to the 1881 census and they have the same name there so ruled them out - wrong name on both census is too much I think, Sorry about the page number copied off my own records wrong Think it is a case of getting the cert - don't like the idea of it as I feel she's got one up on us again!!
