Thats so frustrating, I have to order some this week and hate waiting the 4/5 days let alone weeks, still atleast its slightly better 'at the mo' then last year , hope it doesn't get that bad again.

Hi, I ordered 9 certificates on Feb 12th with a dispatch date of Feb 23rd, 2 arriived Friday 24th, 4 on the 25th and I'm hoping that the remaining 3 will arrive this morning. Steven.

..... postman has just been and no certificates. Not too bad though, because of the length of time people are having to wait at the moment I didn't expect to get any until late this week, and I have 6 out of 9, so I think I've been fairly lucky. Steven.

Don't forget that if a certificate is really urgent you can pay (lots) extra when you order it to get priority despatch. Kate.

I was full of anticipation this morning expecting 3 certificates I ordered on 12 February from the GRO estimated despatch date 23rd February. Postman has just been and nothing. I must admit I have never, in 2 years, had any arrive 'late' (after the estimated date). so I am really disappointed. Oh well........ at least the ironing will get done now Linda

Hi all My postman has not been yet fingers crossed, poor man thinks i'm stalking him, when i see him coming up the road i'm there behind the door waiting :-) Margaret I was always told he fell or was pushed down the stairs(possibly by grandmother) So i trailed through every quarter from when their last child was born, up till i was born. some 30 years worth, took me ages as you can imaging, could'nt do it in one go had to take it year by year. Good Luck if you have to do the same :-) Ann

I think the delay is due to the popularity of 'Who do you think you are' I often send direct to the local office and they have been very helpful.
