You need to use the System Restore, select a date before you deleted whatever program it was and as as near to the date of deletion that you can select, XP will put everything back the way it was. Ron www.genealogyprinters(.)com |

You are all been good about this and thank you, Daughter has been on phone and gone mad with me and she thinks mt system restore will go back to when she marked it before I put on new FTM so I would lose all info I have found since, SO if I ;;;; If downloaded another version of tree maker free, could I make a back up gedcom file thats from this FTM2006 and send it toa new tree maker on here thenput it on disc , so the info would not be lost Babs ( having a very bad senior day) |

for System Restore go to Start at the bottom of your screen on the left click on it and then go All programmes then Accessories then system tools then system restore click on the highlighted date before you did the delete and it should recover it hope this helps |

I just read the book that comes with it and it says if you have a version already installed on your hard drive you can install the new one over the old one and it while not harm your existing family files but to keep a backup of your files in a different location could you try that ??? |

Valerie dont know how to do it ;; Yes windows XP office But dont think that will help as I removed firefox and as of yesterday with the battiries saga that is what the websearch was coming up through;; Dont know if replaying the instalation disc would help, but that would not explain why I cannot get to a page through e-mail links !!!
