I wanted to dedicate today (Sat) to help others on here as best I could. (fed up with dusting /hoovering/washing/cooking and washing up...) I soon noticed that as soon as I started trying to help (in my novice and slow way).....all those that were helping before......LEFT the thread! Please tell me I'm not being paranoid! I know I'm not as clever as most on here but I just wanted to try and help others! Is there a kind of unspoken rule to follow on these boards that I dont know about? Confussed.. Gerri x

Hi Gerri From one of those that leave the board suddenly....I too want to help but do sometimes feel greedy so I sometimes leave a hread to let others have a go at helping. So no not everyone leaves for bad reasons. Also if you dont get a response for the one your trying to help its usually that they too have gone back to hoovering etc. Be kind to yourself...XXX Suzanne

Definitely not paranoid!!! Please don't worry........... I often kill my own threads + others!!!

This happens to me too, I pleased to hear that I'm not the only thread killer! I try to help others as much as knowledge and time allows. I believe in telling people where to look and not doing the searchs for them as I feel that it's their research and they should do it themselves. However I can understand how other members want to help them.

Definitely not Gerri, the same thing keeps happening to me. I was beginning to wonder if I was doing something wrong! tonight is a case in point over an hour a go I replied to a thread, it seems to have 'died' and shortly after posted a query of my own still nothing in response, Is it ME???
