They are fantastic pictures well looked after, i would say the first one being late 20's very early 30's and the 2nd being late 50's to early 62'ish. Nellie |

Tracy, For what it's worth, I'd say 1950s to mid-1960s .... reminds me of photos of Sophia Loren (with that stand up round collar) and also of Princess Margaret. The flowery bridesmaids' dresses suggest late 1950s/early 1960s. Do let us know the actual dates .... so that we know if we need to improve our skills or pat ourselves on the back!! Kind regards Jane |

Thanks. I was thinking it would be something like that. The guy behind the groom in the 2nd pic is the same guy gettng married in the first pic. So if they're aged 20-30 when they get married, why can't I find their births? lol |

I'd say that the first one is from the 1930s or late 1920s, and the second from the mid-1950s to early 1960s. I'm sure that a clothing expert could pin them down much more precisely, though. The key indicators would be the women's dresses, the cut of the men's suits, and the style of the men's shirt collars. |

The first one looks like late 1930s pre 2nd world war though bridesmaids dresses with lots of material! The 2nd one is circa 1958 - 1962 I would say Good Hunting Diana |

They're both quite long, but I don't think they would have been as early as the 20s, unless I've got the wrong people lol Might even be 60s if I have got the right ones. Been looking up from 1920 for their births and I'm almost in 1930 with no sign :( I've put them here http://www.starry-enterprises.*co.uk/images/Wedding2.JPG http://www.starry-enterprises.*co.uk/images/Wedding3.JPG Thanks for your suggestions Linda :) |

was just thinking 20's dresses would have still been quite long and slim where as 50's more rock n roll |

The blokes are both wearing suits, but the women are wearing nice dresses - different in style though. I can put them online if you want to take a look? |

I have a couple of wedding photos, and I have no idea when they may have been taken. I have just about worked out who is getting married, but have no idea when. I suppose it could be anywhere from 1920 to about 1950. Could anyone help me please? |
