Info varies but should have name , regimental number/s, medal entitlement, and if you are lucky other info such as when he joined up and left Fred |

On my grandad's card it had name, number, rank, the two regiments he served in, the medals he was awarded and the theatre of war. I was lucky enough to find a book in the library about one of the regiments and found out why his theatre of war was Egypt. Regards, Jackie |

Zoe, the cards dont hold a ton of info, its not like their service record or anything - obviously you know you can download cards from N.A. for £3.50? |

I was unlucky as it only gave my Great Grandad's Regiment & number. But you can use the number to send off for a service record |

Hi Sally, you have to send for an information pack. You then have to fill in a form, proof of you being next of kin & a cheque for £30. I have just applied for one & have been advised it takes between 6-8 months to get it back. If you are still interested send me a PM & I will look the address up for you. Ang |
